Next steps: After the Ako Torowhānui Māori Healing training

Everyone’s journey is different

One of the beautiful things about Ako Torowhānui is that it has evolved from the needs of those who are stepping into this space.

Firstly, as the wananga is focused on your healing first and foremost, and then the steps towards becoming a practitioner, if you need it – please take the time.

As we are now spreading across the state, country and world, how this looks differs from person to person depending on the community available there, although we do our best to support you!

Practicing at home after

After the training you are so welcome (and encouraged) to start sharing sessions at home (unless I’ve had a conversation with you separately).

  • I am confident (if you are), that you can begin practicing, at home.
For each client, you can add 1.5 hours on top of the time you practice.
This allocates time for set up and pack down, washing, prepartion, energy clearing

    • How long does a session last?

Sessions do not have set times, yet people share between 30-90 minutes – play with the length of time that works for you.

If possible, when practicing at home, you may want some guidance, so take advantage of the peer-to-peer calls below.

If you do swaps with other trainees, write down your hours also.
